Cast iron beef pot pie
This recipe was so easy, and SO yummy. I’d categorize this meal as one of the best comfort foods. My kids loved it, and my husband had 3 helpings. With the weather turning colder this is a perfect meal to add to that list of yours (I know you have one, so do I ha!)
What you will need:
• 1lb ground beef
• 1 medium yellow onion
• 1 cup milk
• 1 cup frozen corn
• 1 can green beans
• 1 can cut carrots
• 1 can diced potatoes
• 1 tbsp minced garlic
• 1 tbsp flour
• 1 can of biscuits
1. Brown the ground beef in your skillet over medium heat
2. Dice up your onion and add to the skillet with the beef
3. Empty your vegetables into the skillet and stir
4. Add your minced garlic and stir
5. Let everything cook together for a few minutes
6. Pour in the milk and stir
7. Sprinkle in your flour and stir again
8. Cut up your canned biscuits and place on top of your skillet mixture
9. Put your skillet in the oven at 400°F for 15-18 minutes
10. Enjoy!!
