High Protein Blueberry Crumble Oatmeal

This is my FAVORITE breakfast right now. It’s high in protein and so delicious. It gives me the energy I need to get through the first part of my day (which I really need in this 3rd trimester of pregnancy), and satisfies my never ending sweet tooth.

* this breakfast is roughly 700 calories and packs about 40g of protein with lots of fiber, too! It’s a great balanced breakfast to start your day

What you’ll need:

• Small summer pot

• 1 cup almond milk or your preferred milk

• 1/2 cup rolled oats

• 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

• 1 tbsp chia seeds

• 1 tbsp ground flaxseed

• 1 tbsp hemp hearts

• 1 cup fresh blueberries

• vanilla granola

Step by step:

1) Measure 1 cup of almond milk & pour it into your small simmer pot

2) measure 1/2 cup of rolled oats and add it to the milk in your pot

3) measure 1 scoop of protein powder using the scoop that comes in the container and add it to your simmer pot

4) stir it all together and let it cook over medium heat for approximately 5 minutes or until it starts boiling and thickening to your desired consistency (you’ll want to stick around and watch it)

5) Pour the oatmeal into a bowl and begin adding in the chia seeds, ground flax, and hemp hearts - then mix!

6) measure a cup of fresh blueberries and add it to your bowl of oatmeal - then mix again!

7) Lastly, too with your granola & enjoy!!
