Cajun shrimp pasta

This dish is in my top 5 favorite meals to make. It is SO good. It’s creamy, savory, spicy, and filling. I’ve made it for family and friends, and for myself several times and it just never gets old. Even my babies love it! Serve it with a side salad and bread and you’re set! This dish is just as good if you swap the shrimp for chicken, or if you serve it with no meat at all. Give it a try next time you’re craving a little spice and a lot of flavor.

What you will need:

• 1 box penne pasta
• 1lb shrimp
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
• 1tbsp butter
• olive oil
• 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

     1. Boil water in a large pot in preparation for your penne pasta

   2. Cook your shrimp in a pain drizzled with olive oil until it’s nice and pink if it is raw, and peel it/remove tails if needed

   3. Transfer cooked and peeled shrimp to a bowl

     4. Add 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning and mix so that all of the shrimp are coated

5. Add a tbsp of butter and the coated shrimp back to the skillet on medium low heat

6. Add 1 cup of heavy cream to the skillet and mix

7. Bring the mixture to bubble

8. Add 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and stir
