Cheesy cavatappi with chicken, kale, tomatoes

 

Who doesn’t love a fun-shaped noodle? Cavatappi is one of the fun ones, and my family is guaranteed to like any dish with it. This is a quick, delicious, and filling meal with healthy veggies and melty cheese to make it even better.. give it a try! 


What you will need:

• 3 chicken breasts

• 1 box of cavatappi noodles 

• 1 can of diced tomatoes 

• 1 small bag of frozen kale 

• minced garlic 

• 1 cup mozzarella cheese 


1. Cut your chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces 

2. Add the cut up pieces to a large skillet and cook over medium heat

3. Once the chicken is cooked, add the frozen kale to the skillet 

4. Once the kale has cooked, add your canned diced tomatoes (do not drain them) 

3. Boil your cavatappi pasta as the directions on the box say (usually about 10 minutes) 

3. Add 1tbsp of minced garlic and mix everything together

4. Once the cavatappi is done, drain the water and pour the noodles into your skillet mixture 

5. Mix it all together thoroughly 

6. Add your mozzarella cheese and mix thoroughly again

7. Enjoy!!
